Overview
The RUT906 connects industrial equipment that speaks serial: it has an RS232 port (DB9) and an RS485 port (2- or 4-wire) next to four Ethernet ports. Serial devices can be reached remotely as a console, through serial over IP or as a modem, and Modbus data can be collected and forwarded.
The mobile connection is 4G LTE Cat 4 (up to 150 Mbit/s) with two SIM slots and automatic switching between them, for example on weak signal or a data limit. Wi-Fi 4 serves up to 100 clients, and GNSS (GPS, Galileo and others) reports the router’s position.
For automation it has isolated and dry digital inputs, an analog input (0–24 V), open collector outputs and a relay output (40 V, 4 A). The aluminium housing mounts directly on a DIN rail, takes 9–30 V DC (or passive PoE) and works from −40 °C to 75 °C.
